…from the 22-24th August. London’s only courier led bicycle and racing extravaganza returns for three more days and nights of celebration of the bike and courier culture. The original event was held in 2007 as a pre-event to the Dublin CMWC and saw hundreds attend the three days of fun. And now it’s back!
Pre registration is only £20 for the whole weekend, which includes a free, limited edition T shirt. Early registration secures your entry into all events and reserves your T shirt size. This year’ s event is very much an ‘open’ event an the organisers are extending a warm and welcoming invitation to both messengers and non-messengers alike.
Things kick off on Friday at The Foundry in East London, with registration, Topcat and an artshow. Saturday is the main race, sponsored by Tour de Ville, followed by and after party. Sunday is the Messenger Olympics - skids, sprints, footdown, darts and more general buggering around on bikes, followed by Rollapaluza at the Imbibe bar in SE1
It’s going to be a heavy weekend and the most fun you’ll have on a bike this year. What’s more is that all profits go to the London Courier Emergency Fund. Come to London, ride your bike, have fun and all for a good cause.
